Thank you to everyone who came out to It Came From the Tombs! This
show was incredible and it was all thanks to everyone who streamed into
the club after midnight to rock out with us! You were all gorgeous,
raucous and fucking unstoppable! Everyone seemed to adore Blight's hot new homemade costume and our zombie makeup, also done by Rainbow Blight who took time to slash every band
member just so to achieve the most beautiful gaping wounds possible!
Our veteran rock photographer
Izzy was there to document the show, so you can all expect some fresh
new pics in our gallery in the near future. Of course, our look wasn't
the only thing that was different. We unleashed some of the songs from
the upcoming album on the unsuspecting crowd, who went wild and shouted
lustily after each new tune. Old favorites were not forgotten and the
set closed out with the crowd favorite Sunday Best, with many of the
crazed audience singing along and joining in the fun.
The infamous
bondage bunny made an appearance as well, since so many expressed their
dismay at having missed ransacking it for it's sweets and treats at the
last few shows. After all, what's more zombie like than a good old-fashioned disembowelment? Everyone who stopped by the merch table, as
promised, received one of a kind posters we made just for the show. We'd
especially like to thank all the fans and friends who helped get
everything ready for the show and travelled across the states to see us
perform! Your dead-ication means alot to us!
We'd also thank the great bands that performed with us! Eleanor
Payne were much earlier but we came early to catch them, and were glad
we did. Drop Dead Gorgeous was great, especially with our good friend Oz
on keyboards(from fellow NY freakshow Vulgaras)! Slaves of Pain was a
surprisingly heavy band that played later in the night, but we got to
enjoy their set because we weren't leaving that bar till we fell over!
Last but not least, P.T. Grimm played right after us and put on an
excellent show. Spooky keyboards and nonstop aggression, yum! Keep an
eye out for them because we're sure to be performing together in the
future during our NJ invasion.
In other news, despite all the recording we're doing, we have more
show dates coming up! Our next performance will be June 19th for the
BadAss Burlesque Party! If you don't know about this party yet, it'll
just about knock yer socks off, because these are New York's edgiest,
hottest, raciest female performance artists all packed into one evening
of Psycho Burlesque! There'll be tassel twirlin', fan dancin',
blood-letting and nudity, so you must be 21+ to come to this show. Led
by Velocity Chyald, this is an evening you'll never forget and we're
very excited to a part of it. We will have a very special new setup for
this show and the theme will be... PIRATES!! You've been warned, so
bust out yer ruffly shirts, ye scallywags and get ready to swab the
decks! Er... rock... yeah that's it, ready to ROCK! |
